The Board
The Board of Directors, the highest decision-making body of the company is responsible for the formulation of strategies for the attainment and achievement of the broad goals and objectives of the company. In this regard, the Board is also enjoined to setup structures and systems to effectively deliver the strategies formulated. The Board of Directors of Beap Energy Ghana Limited are esteemed entrepreneurs who have distinguished and proven track-record in their chosen field. Bernard A. Havor
Managing Director
Bernard A Havor holds two Masters degrees from the University Of Ghana Business School and the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training School ,that is Masters in Business Administration (MBA), 2008 and Masters in Conflict, Peace and Security MA (C.P.S) 2020 respectively. Again ,he holds two first degrees i.e Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geography and Resource Development from the University of Ghana, 2000 and LLB Law degree from Mountcrest University College, Ghana in 2019.
He has over two decades experience in the Petroleum downstream sector of the Oil & Gas Industry.
He worked as the Head of Customer Service of Fraga Oil Limited for almost three years. He then moved on to Dukes Petroleum and served as the General Manager from 2004 to 2018 and made a tremendous impact right from the company’s formative years and assisted to project the company to the limelight and contributed immensely to its expansionary drive. He was elected to become a Board Member of the Association of Oil Marketing Companies in 2012. He was re-elected in 2014 to serve a second term as a Board Member. Then again in the year 2023 he was once again elected as a Board Member of the Association of Oil Marketing Companies (AOMCs). He is also the Managing Director of Oiltrade Company Limited. A position he has held since 2015 till date.
Bernard Havor is versatile and hardworking person, creative, a team player as well as a problem solver. He has attended many local and international conferences in both home and abroad all aimed at broadening his understanding of the Petroleum downstream sector.
Eric Turkson
Director
He is the Operations Director with rich experience in the Oil and Gas industry. His dynamic leadership qualities coupled with his strategic expansionary drive has contributed greatly towards the outlets expansion in Oil Marketing Companies where he worked.He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Pune-India,with Business Administration and Cost and Works Accounting options. He previously worked with Marriots International Hotel and Harsco House all in the United Kingdom .He has since 2003 been working in the Oil Industry. He worked with AGAPET Petroleum for three years before joining Dukes Petroleum as the Marketing Manager in 2004 till January 2019.He is full of energy, has critical thinking skills has a passion to succeed as well as a team player.
Peter Nkumeh
Accounts Officer
He is the Accounts Officer of Beap Energy. He obtained a degree in Business Administration (Accounting) from the University of Ghana, 2021. Prior to joining Beap Energy, he worked at Korlebu at Obstetrics and Gynaecology Département as an Accounts Officer between 2021 to 2022.He again worked as Depot Manager for Mobile water for two years. He has a strong drive to see through completion of tasks ahead of time and an indispensable team player.
Nana Abena Bempomaa Asante
Finance & Admin Officer
A proactive and detailed oriented person with strong educational background in Actuarial Science from Kwame Nkruma University of Science and Technology (KNUST), 2022. She skills in Data Analysis, problem Solving and effective Communication. She worked at the Ghanan Revenue Authority in the Audit Département as a Service personnel in 2022-2023. She is passionate about delivering exceptional account managements services and contributing to the success of Beap Energy
Daniel Lopez-Sogbey
Internal Auditor
He is the Internal Auditor with three years’ work experience in the Oil and Gas sector. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Cape Coast, 2018. He also has part 2 of a professional course in Institute of Chartered Accountant (I.C.A). He worked as an Accountant in Kanda
International School between 2006-2015.He is very detailed oriented person with broad understanding of financial matters.
Eric Kafui Mgeel
Marketing Manager
He has a Masters degree in Civil and Commercial Law(LLM) from the Xiamen University, China, 2019. He also hold a first degree in Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Cape Coast.He has 9 years work experience at Dukes Petroleum Company as a marketing manager. He is a customer oriented person with good human relations skills. He is creative, very good and possess multiple skills.
